‘Newburgh TOOLS’ is a community-driven initiative to provide our city’s residents with equitable, low-cost access to tools, job training and information.
We’re building a tool lending facility, teaching garden and community resource hub on an underutilized urban infill lot, centrally located in Newburgh’s historic core.
THE “WHO”
Newburgh TOOLS will provide resources and support for all of us who live and work in Newburgh. Our intersecting populations of renters, students, contractors, first-time homeowners, young entrepreneurs, day workers, existing community organizations and DIYers will have access to tools, practical information and programming, for free or under a very low membership fee.
