#1 - SIGN OUR PETITION

Most importantly, please sign here, if you live in Newburgh and think this is a good idea! The list won’t be made public, but the numbers gathered will allow us to assess interest, and demonstrate community support to pursue grants and gather resources.

#2 - HELP US WITH TOOLS

If you have any tools you no longer need and want to give them a second life, let us know! Please note below what you’ve got, including the tool type, age, and any wear or tear we should know about.

If you have any tools you want to keep but are willing to share, or maybe just want to clear some space in your garage, we have a program for that! Through the Loan Share, we’ll take responsibility for storing, cleaning, maintaining and insuring any tool you’d care to lend, and you’ll have first rights to reserve it when you need it. If you decide you want it back, no problem - just give us a month’s heads up.

#3 - HELP US WITH FUNDING

Newburgh TOOLS has a dedicated task force of local volunteers, the resources of our partners, a usage agreement in place for the land to build the library, and a growing network of supportive local organizations and individuals.  Funding is the essential next step for the project’s startup costs, including construction and inventory, and for staffing and programming for an initial period of operation. Our target startup budget is $30,000. All donations will be applied directly to our operations and construction, and every amount helps!
